An engineering marvel – the One Za'abeel towers in Dubai.

Let's take a look at the progress of the iconic project in Dubai - two One Za'abeel towers, 330 and 325 meters high, connected by a massive horizontal beam.

Externally, the skyscrapers are 99% ready and everything fully corresponds to what is stated in the renderings.

The wow effect in the project is created by the horizontal structure hanging between the towers, as if dividing them with an invisible, very dynamic movement.

The image of skyscrapers is extremely laconic. Nothing superfluous – only the play of vertical and horizontal lines of the structure and reflexes in panoramic glazing.

The idea that the transverse console, raised to a height of more than 100 meters, is in fact a horizontally located skyscraper is fascinating – the length of the beam is 220 meters. This is the longest console in the world.

Prefab technology was used in the construction. The console was assembled from steel modules that were prefabricated at the factory. Assembly was carried out on site.

Prefabrication (prefab) is the practice of assembling components of a structure in a factory or other manufacturing site and transporting complete assemblies or subassemblies to the construction site where the main structure is located. Such prefab modules can be integrated into projects or used as a turnkey solution.

80% of all processes take place at the prefab manufacturing plant. Modules are delivered to the construction site with prepared engineering systems. This shortens and simplifies the process of construction and laying engineering systems. By the way, quality control in such construction is an order of magnitude higher.

The viewing crossbar, called The Link, was installed using the powerful hydraulic system Strand jack. The 8,500-ton structure was lifted to a height of more than 100 meters in 12 days.

The console has a cellular structure, without columns that would provide additional load.

The first tower of the complex contains standard office premises, VIP offices and the One&Only Luxury Hotel of The World. The second one contains residential residences.
